BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Senior Associate, Consolidation & Financial Reporting for our Pennsauken, NJ Global Support Center.

As a Senior Associate, you will be responsible for various Consolidation, Accounting, and Financial Reporting duties including but not limited to the creation of work plans, preparation of reports, analysis of data and metrics, presentation of findings, and the provision of administrative and project support. In addition to working autonomously, this position is differentiated from the Associate role through a demonstration of one or more of the following: subject matter expertise, ownership and accountability for complex processes, and the ability to work in a supervisory capacity leading, coaching, and training others. It is a mid- level professional track position and will offer training and continuing education to support a career in management and leadership within BAYADA Home Health Care.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates and communicate the core values of BAYADA Home Health Care and The BAYADA
  • Understands and maintains documentation on the company’s organizational structure, financial status, and operational goals/objectives.
  • Manage change over consolidated financial reports within Workday
  • Prepare analysis and journal entries for Consolidated Financial Statements on quarterly basis
  • Prepare external financial reports for bank partners and other third parties
  • Support the preparation of materials for Finance Committee Meetings and other external communications
  • Design, Implement, and Operate controls over the consolidation and external financial reporting process
  • Design, Implement, and Operate controls over governance of company assets
  • Support integration of new ventures and acquisitions into the company’s Consolidated Financial Statements
  • Research, document, and communicate complex accounting issues that arise from new ventures and acquisitions
  • Prepare analysis and perform procedures required for purchase accounting including any journal entries needed to accurately reflect new ventures and acquisitions
  • Support the new venture/acquisition diligence process by gathering and providing deliverables requested by third party
  • Design, maintain, and execute processes over the reporting of International Subsidiaries and Investments
  • Analyze trends and identify new financial reporting and cash flow risks within International Subsidiaries and Investments
  • Build Relationships with various accounting personnel of International Subsidiaries and Investments
  • Assist in the Design and Implementation of new procedures within grant and donation processes
  • Prepare analysis and reporting for donation and grant receipt and usage
  • Support the completion of internal/external audits of financial information
  • Research and Implement new ways to automate the existing processes above
  • Maintain documentation over the processes above
  • Provides support and supervision to Associates or to any other staff member who may provide general or administrative support
  • Participates in regular weekly staff meeting and takes the lead in providing oversight of the company’s accounting processes, and strategically works to resolve issues
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with the organization’s principal contacts both domestically and internationally
  • Train and mentor Associates and Interns

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Accounting. CPA, MBA, or CMA preferred
  • Two (2) to Five (5) years public accounting or related industry experience
  • Prior health care and home care experience is a plus
  • Possesses effective project management skills including the ability to facilitate and
  • Demonstrates effective presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong understanding of standard concepts, practices, and procedures of US GAAP
  • Ability to research complex accounting standards and apply correctly to the company’s financial statements
  • Ability to identify risks within the financial reporting process and design and implement effective controls
  • Demonstrates excellent leadership, interpersonal, and motivational skills
  • Solid record of goal achievement and exceeding performance standards
  • Possess problem solving ability, leadership skills and be able to foster interpersonal
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and processes
