WHAT: 40 Hour, Personal Care Aide Training Program
WHERE: 2200 Main St. Wailuku, HI 96753: Zoom
WHEN: June 6th - 10th, from 8:30am - 5:00pm
COST: $50 for textbook (needs to be purchased before class)
BONUS: $250 Sign on Bonus after 40 hours worked for Bayada plus textbook reimbursement
Things you will learn during the PCA Training Program:
- Activities of daily living
- Light housekeeping
- Nail care
- Range of motion / exercises
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Oral feeding
- Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
- Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
- Assisting with ambulation
- Medication assistance

- Two Step TB Test
- Pass State Background Test
- 16 years of age or older
- State work permit approved
