- Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral feeding.
- Mobility Support: Helping with ambulation and transfers.
- Health Monitoring: Checking vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration) and guiding range of motion exercises.
- Home Management: Light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and bed-making etc.
- Medication Assistance: Assisting clients to take their daily medication
- Provide patient, structured support tailored to individuals on the autism spectrum, if applicable.
- Assist with behavioral management strategies when necessary.
- Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of professional work experience in a healthcare setting and individuals with Autism.
- Education: Certificate showing completion of at least 75 hours of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training.
- Licensing: Current, active CNA license listed in good standing with the state board.
- Traits: A compassionate, reliable, and patient-centered work ethic.
