Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Manager Responsibilities
As the Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Manager, you will oversee day-to-day clinical operations while ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and exceptional team performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide clinical leadership and support to Registered Nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Review and oversee OASIS assessments, documentation accuracy, and Medicare compliance
- Manage and approve patient care plans, 485s, and clinical documentation workflows
- Mentor, coach, and develop Registered Nurse and clinical staff performance
- Support onboarding, orientation, and ongoing clinician education
- Serve as a clinical resource for patient care decisions, triage, and problem-solving
- Monitor quality metrics and implement best practices to improve patient outcomes
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards
- Collaborate with leadership to drive operational excellence and clinical success
Qualifications
Required
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience
- Recent home health experience required
- Strong OASIS assessment and documentation experience
- Knowledge of Medicare regulations and home health compliance requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Preferred
- Previous clinical leadership, nurse manager, or supervisory experience
- Experience mentoring and developing clinical teams
- Strong quality improvement and performance management background
