Clinical Nurse Manager (RN) – IDD Nurse Leadership / Habilitation Services

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our IDD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) Nursing and Habilitation Services team in Hickory, NC. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Nurse Leader to provide clinical guidance, mentor nursing and support staff, and ensure exceptional person-centered care for individuals throughout the community.
As an IDD Clinical Nurse Manager, you will use your nursing expertise, leadership skills, and passion for client care to oversee services, support Habilitation Technicians, and collaborate with families and care teams to achieve the best outcomes for each client.
What Your Day May Look Like as a Clinical Nurse Manager:
- Lead, inspire, and motivate a team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional nursing-supported care
- Apply your Registered Nurse (RN) clinical expertise to develop, implement, and oversee individualized care plans
- Provide clinical oversight and nursing guidance for Habilitation Services
- Supervise, coach, and support Habilitation Technicians delivering client care in the field
- Facilitate new hire orientation and provide ongoing nurse-led training and education
- Conduct competency evaluations for new and experienced team members
- Collaborate with clients, families, Case Managers, Care Coordinators, Nurses, Habilitation Technicians, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Partner with care teams to implement and evaluate goals identified in Person-Centered Plans and Individual Support Plans
- Complete regular Registered Nurse client visits to assess progress, evaluate care needs, and ensure services are delivered according to established plans
- Monitor client outcomes and adjust nursing support strategies as needed
- Maintain ongoing communication with Case Managers and healthcare partners
- Provide clinical supervision and nursing leadership in accordance with BAYADA policies, procedures, and state regulations
Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Nurse Manager Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with the IDD population
- Experience as a Qualified Professional (QP) preferred
- Clinical Nurse leadership, Nurse Supervisor, or healthcare management experience preferred
- Strong nursing assessment skills and ability to support individualized client care
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership abilities
- Passion for providing compassionate care and improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities
