Service Office Director – Assistive Care

Middlesex Assistive Care (MAC) | East Brunswick, NJ
Full-time | Monday–Friday | In-office

Base Salary Range: $95,000-$100,000 annually, plus quarterly incentive opportunities. Total compensation potential can be higher based on performance and achievement of incentive targets.

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Service Office Director to lead our Middlesex Assistive Care office in East Brunswick, NJ. Assistive Care provides personalized personal care and companionship services that help people remain safe, comfortable, independent, and dignified at home.

Responsibilities for the Service Office Director

  • Lead, mentor, and develop office employees by setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback, and creating accountability.
  • Establish a positive office culture grounded in The BAYADA Way and a commitment to client-first service.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with clients, families, caregivers, referral sources, and community partners.
  • Oversee office operations and ensure clients receive responsive, dependable, and high-quality service.
  • Use reports, key performance indicators, and office data to identify priorities and make sound business decisions.
  • Partner with the office team to support recruiting, onboarding, engagement, retention, and employee development.
  • Identify talent needs and participate in behavioral-based interviewing and selection for office employees.
  • Develop and execute recruiting, marketing, networking, and community-engagement plans that support office goals.
  • Monitor office performance, including service quality, staffing, client payment practices, gross margin, and other financial measures.
  • Address client, family, and employee concerns with urgency, professionalism, and a solution-oriented approach.
  • Collaborate with practice and enterprise partners to support compliance, quality, growth, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications for the Service Office Director

  • Leadership experience in healthcare, home care, human services, hospitality, staffing, retail, or another service-focused environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing teams.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to balance people leadership, client service, staffing, operations, financial performance, and growth priorities.
  • Comfort using data, reports, and performance metrics to guide decisions and improve results.
  • Ability to remain calm, flexible, and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
  • Commitment to treating clients, families, caregivers, and colleagues with fairness, respect, compassion, and dignity.
  • Ability to work full-time, Monday–Friday, in the East Brunswick office, with local community engagement as needed.
