Joining the RBT Academy

The BAYADA RBT Academy will fully prepare you to pass the RBT certification test and to feel confident in practicing applied behavioral analysis (ABA) therapy principles so you can help your young clients work toward their goals. We offer paid training programs in New Jersey and Hawaii that are structured with comprehensive learning and experience modules so you can begin your new job in weeks instead of months or years. Continued weekly mentorship and supervision by a Board Certified Behavior Analysts® (BCBA®) help set you up for long-term success.

What is an RBT?

A Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT®) is a paraprofessional who works one-on-one with people with autism or others who would benefit from ABA therapy. RBTs make an impact by: 

  • Working one-on-one with clients to build independence, improve behaviors, and teach social skills
  • Provide therapy in clients' homes, schools, community settings, or in our specially equipped centers
  • Build relationships with clients and track their progress
  • Work closely with the BCBA and RBT team to help clients achieve their greatest potential

What We Provide You
