BAYADA’s Advance to LPN Scholarship Program is meant to provide a supportive pathway for BAYADA caregivers to elevate their healthcare careers through obtaining their first nursing credential as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse. Please note, the program is not a nursing program itself but provides support while you are in a nursing school of your choice. The scholarship program will provide you with tuition expense support, your own success coach, and a job offer with the nation’s only accredited home care nurse residency program after graduation. Next Application Window Opens January 2025
Application windows for the program are open periodically and subject to available funding.
We will be accepting applications again in January 2025*. If you’re a BAYADA caregiver who is currently in nursing school, complete the interest form below to be contacted once the application window opens in January 2025.
*The application window is currently open until January 31, 2025, for BAYADA caregivers working in the state of South Carolina due to an additional scholarship offer exclusive to SC employees.
Please note: The Advance to LPN Program does not apply to our joint ventures offices or other entities managed by BAYADA Home Health Care. The Advance to LPN Program is available wherever there is a BAYADA Nurse Residency Program (NRP). The BAYADA Nurse Residency Program is not yet offered in Colorado, Hawaii, or Maryland. Therefore, the Advance to LPN Program is not yet available in Colorado, Hawaii, or Maryland.
Please also note that submitting the interest form or an email, or contacting your office is not considered an application to the program. You must complete the application process which is available only during the application window. Additionally, employment at BAYADA does not guarantee an application to the Advance to LPN Scholarship Program.
Am I Eligible?
Interested caregivers must meet the following criteria before they may apply:
- Active employment at BAYADA with a 90-day tenure and demonstrated ability to work at least 20 hours per month
- Ability to maintain working at least 20 hours per month while in school
- Enrolled in an accredited LPN or RN program verified by BAYADA
- Obtaining first nursing credential (not already a nurse)
- Ability to commit to BAYADA as a home care nurse for a period between one-to-two years post-graduation
How Do I Apply?
When an application window is open, and you meet the eligibility criteria, follow these next steps:
- Complete the interest form linked below
- Complete an eligibility screening phone call with the program team
- Attend an information session and phone call with a nurse residency representative
- Complete the application form online
- Once the application and all supporting documents are provided, the application will be submitted for scholarship committee review and enrollment decisions will be emailed within 6-8 weeks
